What happens if my renewal lapses? 

Your access pauses, and credits cannot be used while a renewal is out of date. If renewal is more than three months overdue, re-accreditation is required: you pay a re-accreditation fee, then complete e-learning and a knowledge check to assess retention and debrief a sample profile with the team. If more support is needed you attend another accreditation course, with the re-accreditation fee deducted from the cost.

Renewing on time avoids all of this, so it is worth keeping an eye on your renewal date.
